Pakistan School Muscat

Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) is the historic flagship and largest co-educational institution within the Pakistan Schools Oman network, established in 1975 on a prominent hilltop campus in Ruwi, under the Wilayat of Mutrah, Muscat, on land graciously gifted by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said. Serving a highly diverse, multinational student body of over 3,000 pupils from 20 different expatriate communities, the school offers premier academic streams from Kindergarten (KG) through Grade 12 (HSSC) and Year 13 (A-Levels), providing a flexible dual-curriculum pathway that encompasses both the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) of Pakistan and the globally recognized Cambridge Assessment International Education (IGCSE, AS & A-Levels). As one of the best and most affordable international community schools in Oman, PSM features advanced learning infrastructure, including fully equipped physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories, modern ICT hubs, and extensive smart classrooms integrated with interactive digital boards. Known for its progressive academic standards, the campus proudly houses the specialized Centre for Special Education (CSE) to support differently-abled students and a massive multipurpose auditorium for socio-cultural events. Operating under the visionary governance of the Board of Directors and Senior Principal Abdul Raheem, Pakistan School Muscat seamlessly balances a rigorous focus on sciences, humanities, and languages—including mandatory English-medium instructions alongside Urdu and Ministry-approved Arabic courses—while fostering student leadership through an active student council and robust athletic programs in cricket and football.
