About This School
Modern Generation International Private School (MGIS) is a bilingual international school in Muscat that blends the Omani national education framework with the Cambridge International Curriculum, creating a structured academic pathway from early years through Grade 12. Established in 2012 in Mabelah South, the school has grown into a full K–12 institution focused on building academically strong, socially aware, and future-ready learners. What makes MGIS stand out is its balanced approach between academic rigor and character development. In the early years, the focus is on curiosity, language development, and foundational numeracy through play-based and structured learning. As students progress, the Cambridge Pathway introduces deeper analytical learning across sciences, mathematics, and global perspectives, while maintaining Arabic language and Islamic studies as core pillars of identity and cultural grounding.
