ABQ Sohar International School

ABQ Sohar International School, operating under the ABQ Education Group network, is a prominent co-educational institution in the Al Batinah North region, offering a robust, dual-pathway education. Accommodating students from Pre-KG through Grade 12, the academic model seamlessly integrates the globally recognized Cambridge International Curriculum with the Omani Ministry of Education (MOE) standards. Early childhood phases leverage the research-backed International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), optimizing foundational cognitive and motor skill development. Moving into Primary and Lower Secondary stages, students transition into the rigorous Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary frameworks in core subjects, objectively monitored through Cambridge Checkpoint and GL Progress assessments. By senior secondary levels, students are empowered to select between the prestigious Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level qualifications or the bilingual Omani General Education Diploma (GED). The purpose-built campus in Sohar supports this comprehensive academic architecture with cutting-edge facilities, digital integration via the 1:1 Chromebook program, and specialized developmental initiatives like GEDx and the Mobeen Arabic excellence program, systematically equipping graduates for global tertiary education and dynamic future careers.
