As a thank you to this school, I am personally honored to deliver a gift to the student who carried the bag of rice for the Sultan of Gold at the last party held by the school.
The school is located in Dhahrat Al-Qalin in Wadi Al-Sahtan in the Wilayat of Rustaq. The name of the school is Umm Kulthum bint Ali. She is Umm Kulthum bint Ali ibn Abi Talib. Her mother is Fatima Al-Zahra bint Muhammad. She is the granddaughter of the Messenger of God, the sister of Imams Hassan and Hussein, and the aunt of Imam Ali Zain Al-Abidin. She is commonly ranked fourth after Sayyida Zainab, but some say she is ranked third and that Umm Kulthum is older than Sayyida Zainab. Some sources mention her name as Zainab Al-Sughra. The genealogist Al-Ubaidli narrated: “Musa ibn Abd Al-Rahman told us: Musa ibn Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib told me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, who said: Zainab was born before the death of the Prophet, may God bless him and his family. Her mother named her Zainab, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and his family, gave her the kunya Umm Kulthum.”
