School information is based on publicly available datasets and/or updates submitted by authorized school representatives once "Claim this school" is enabled.

We strive to maintain accurate information, but we cannot guarantee the completeness or accuracy of all listings. Users should verify critical information directly with schools or relevant authorities.

5) "Claim this school"

If/when enabled, school owners/authorized staff may submit limited information for verification (e.g., name, role, contact details). We will use it only to:

• verify authorization and confirm the identity of the person claiming the school listing,
• publish requested listing updates after verification,
• prevent fraud, impersonation, or unauthorized claims.

This information is used solely for verification purposes and is not shared with third parties except as required by law.

6) Advertising

We may display sponsored placements or ads. Any sponsored placement will be clearly labeled as such.

We do not currently offer targeted advertising based on user profiles or browsing behavior.

If we implement targeted advertising in the future, we will update this policy and provide opt-out mechanisms where applicable.

7) Data retention

We retain technical logs only for a limited period as needed for security and troubleshooting, then delete or aggregate them.

The retention period depends on the type of data and its purpose. Generally, technical logs are retained for no more than 90 days unless required for security investigations.

Once data is no longer needed, we securely delete it or anonymize it so it cannot be linked to individuals.

8) International processing

Our service providers (hosting, storage, maps) may process data on servers located outside Oman depending on their infrastructure.
